Come and be part of Care Goondiwindi’s AGM on Tuesday 18th October 2016 at 5.30pm, starting at the Care office and then onto the Royal Hotel. Care Goondiwindi has being servicing the Goondiwindi & surrounding area for over 24 years.
Hi Tracy just letting you know Ross mowed the lawn this morning. He did a great job and it’s all very clean and tidy. A big thank you to Care for organising this for John. He is still not well and it means a lot to him to have the yard tidy so having this service will give him some peace of mind while he is unwell. Thanks once again Care Goondiwindi.
On Friday, Minister O’Rourke launched an online survey which is open to all members of the community seeking their views on how Queensland can be an age-friendly community.
The online survey is available here https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/XKSX8LC .
I welcome your input into the development of the new strategy. Key questions for regional response include:
• What are the priority issues for older people in your region?
• What actions or solutions do you believe would assist in developing communities which are more responsive to the needs of older people in your region?
• What is the most important or relevant response in your region which would make the most difference in building a more liveable and inclusive Queensland for people of all ages?
